Overview
Eureka Henrich is a Wellcome Trust Research Fellow in Medical Humanities in the History Group. Her research examines the ways migration has been experienced, remembered and represented, particularly in the 20th century Australian context. Her papers on museums, memorials and exhibitions of migration have been published in History Compass, The International Journal of the Inclusive Museum and Childhood in the Past. With Julian M. Simpson she has recently edited History, Historians and the Immigration Debate: Going Back to Where We Came From (Palgrave, forthcoming 2018). Before joining the University of Hertfordshire she was a Wellcome Trust Research Fellow the University of Leicester (2014-2017) and a Rydon Fellow in Australian Politics and Political History at the Menzies Centre for Australian Studies, King’s College London. Eureka originally hails from Sydney, Australia, where she completed her PhD in History at the University of New South Wales in 2012.
