Overview
Sunila Modi is a senior lecturer within Hertfordshire Business School, with a core focus on information systems and project management. Previously she worked at Westminster Business School, University of Westminster.
The main focus of her research relates to how agile methods are adapted across different contexts. Her most recent work explores how collaborative work practices are being reconfigured for globally distributed agile software development contexts. Sunila has presented her work at several prestigious conferences including AMCIS, IEEE Global Software Engineering and UKAIS. Alongside this she has designed and delivered numerous workshops including ‘Driving Hybrid Agile for Global Teams’ for the British Computer Society Agile Methods Specialist Group.
Her teaching centres around agile project management, innovation and creativty, digital business and she has extensive experience supervising graduate students.
She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and member of APM, AIS and UKAIS .
She has professional certification for AgilePM (Foundation & Practitioner).
