Overview

I am an Early Career Research Fellow in the Centre for Research into Primary and Community Care (CRIPACC). I am researching support for people living with dementia and their carers, and have a particular interest in how technology can be applied as part of this support.

Research interests

I have an overarching interest in the use of technology to support community health and social care provision. My PhD looked at telecare and telehealth services for older people with complex health conditions and disabilities, and people with learning disabilities in supported living accommodation. I currently lead a case study on the Wellcome Trust funded Studies in Co-creating Assisted Living Solutions (SCALS): www.scals.org

I am also interested in research into policy and interventions at the UK border relating to identifying victims of human trafficking, particularly from criminlogical and ethical perspectives.
